Thanks for all your patience while G-Whizz! version 1.2 has been in review. For some reason unknown to us, it was in review for almost 3 months and has finally been approved. Here are the changes in this version:
NEW FEATURES:

Also, please note that we've become aware of a bug in this version that causes the ratings prompt to appear every time at startup. This is more noticeable on iPad then iPhone (because of the iPhone's multitasking). We've already submitted a fix for this and hope that it will be approved soon. Please don't take this out on us in the ratings! :) Thanks for your continued feedback!

Great work Ricky. Keep it up! Is it possible to add the ability to save images to your photo roll from Reader, etc? That would be awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to get this to work and have not had much luck finding information about this. Whenever I launch G-Whizz! on my iPad, I get the following error:

I'd be interested in where I can find information on how to deal with this.

ReplyDeleteI am having the same issue as Daniel. I opened a link in reader and that errr came up now every time i open g whiz it tries to reopen the link and the error comes up preventing me from closing the page. If there's anyway of fixing this could you let me know. It's been quite frustrating.

Me too! I have tried exiting the app and even rebooting, but I can't make the error go away.

ReplyDeleteWe are working on a fix for this rare issue, but in the meantime you can actually make the window go away if you do the following:
ReplyDelete1. Close the app
2. Open the app and immediately start tapping rapidly in the upper-right-hand corner where the "Done" button will be
3. If you do this correctly, you will be able to activate the "Done" button before the page loads (which causes the error) and will then be able to use G-Whizz! again
Let me know if this works for you! Also, in the future you should use our official Google Group at http://groups.google.com/group/gwhizzapps

ReplyDeleteNice app, but I do run into a problem trying to put in twitter sign on info. It gives me a note saying to download the latest twitter app, but then I click on it, I get an error saying the url can not be displayed, then the app freezes. Only thing I can do to clear it is to delete the app and put it back in.

I have my iPhone as a music source at work, where I need to let other that work in the same team as i, to gain access to the phone, to get a share of one's own music taste...
And I can easally imagine other in a similar posission!!

Where do you set how often G-Whizz! goes out and pulls email?

Great app, definitely my favorite on the iOS. Is it possible to add map support from the calendar? When I type an address in the calendar, under where, and save it. When I view the entry from the calendar, there is a map link but when I press the link it just shows my current location, not the address the link should be.

hi! I need to clarify something that may not have understood by us, users and buyers of HD facely: we do not care to share external links. We call "links" all things in our bulletin board reshared on Facebook. To link so mean especially NOTES facebook or pages published by our friends, videos posted by friends, the pictures posted by friends, etc. .. not only external ones. we want to share these things! and ask loudly for a long time! was possible in past versions, not now, why? i'm a blogger and i want to review your apps.. waiting for an answer, goodbye.
ReplyDeleteGreat app! But since updating to the latest release, Facebook launches into a FB mobile and bounces between the old and new page. I know I can choose desktop mode but i can't make that the default. Any help would be great. And this for an iPad

ReplyDeleteHi- I'm still unable to see the entire Gmail page. Whether in portrait or landscape mode, the bottom third of the page is cut off and I can't scroll down. That leaves me unable to read an email conversation that has more than two or three segments, not to mention contacts and other bits at the bottom of the page.

Why are there advertisements pooping up below with games to try etc. The app is great but I do not like these pop ups.

I'm using that for gmail, gtalk, etc. Your app doesn't show any way to specify a private key.
